Wealth Team

Building high-value, team-based wealth practices

High-value teams don’t just focus performance. They operate with clarity, shared ownership, and a way of working that allows the whole team to create more value together than any individual could alone.

Evolved Team Leadership™

This is not traditional team coaching. Evolved Team Leadership™ focuses on how your team functions as a system.

How decisions are made. How work flows. How ownership is shared.

It’s about creating a team that works together in a way that’s clear, aligned, and able to consistently deliver value.

Designed around your team

Every team is different.

We design the work around what your team is navigating, whether you are:

  • Building a new team,
  • Integrating new members,
  • Merging teams,
  • Navigating succession or transition, or
  • Looking to strengthen how your team works together.

How your team works together starts to matter more

Every team brings individual strengths, experiences, and perspectives. What determines your impact is how those come together.

High-value teams:

  • Balance individuall and collective needs,
  • Navigate challenge without avoiding it,
  • Align around what matters most, and
  • Create value that goes beyond individual roles.

What teams start to shift

Teams often start by focusing on communication, processes, or improving how meetings run.

What we focus on is deeper.

Creating clarity around purpose and direction and aligning the team’s work with the needs of clients, partners, and community you serve.

Strengthening how the team communicates and challenges each other, so different perspectives can be used effectively rather than avoided.

Seeing the team as part of a broader system, not operating in isolation, and understanding how your work connects to and impacts others.

Over time, the team becomes more focused, more aligned, and more effective in how it works together and delivers value.

How we work together

Team coaching is designed around your team’s needs and typically runs from six months to two years.

Engagements often include:

  • Quarterly team offsites
  • Ongoing coaching with the team leader
  • Observation and support within team meetings
  • Individual check-ins where needed
  • Tilt365® assessments to support awareness and growth

A systemic approach to team coaching

This work often builds on the leadership work we do with team leaders and extends into how the team operates together.

We look beyond individuals to how the team functions as a whole, and how it connects to the broader systems around it.

We look at how the team connects with clients, partners, the broader organization, and the community. And how patterns form, repeat, and evolve over time.

This includes integrating tools such as Tilt365® assessments, along with practices from Systemic Team Coaching® and the Living Systems Approach™ to team coaching.

Through Evolved Team Leadership™, you evolve how you lead, how your team functions, and how your business grows—so your team can meet what’s next.

FAQs

How much time is needed for team coaching?

It depends. If you already schedule quarterly off-site team meetings (half to full-day) and at minimum 1-hour monthly team meetings, we’d refocus the time already scheduled to include team coaching. Plus, time for private 1:1 coaching (1 hour) with you (as leader) and, if appropriate, private 1:1 check-ins (30 minutes) with your team members.

Do you work with a co-coach?

Yes, if your team is eight members or more, we bring in two coaches to work you’re your team. Using a co-coach approach allows us to work with each team member individually, collaborate with the team collectively, and bring more insights to the team throughout the process.

What payment options do you offer?

All team coaching engagements are billed in advance of our work with you. For longer engagements, quarterly billing can be arranged. You can pay by credit card or e-transfer.

Do you offer team coaching in person?

Yes. The first off-site team meeting (half or full day) is conducted in person. We recommend quarterly off-site meetings are held in person, if possible. Business as usual meetings and private 1:1 meetings can be conducted virtually or in-person depending on your location and budget. All travel and accommodation expenses are in addition to team coaching costs and covered by you.

She became a trusted advisor to me and my team

“I started working with Heather in the fall of 2022 as I finalized the details for acquiring another Advisory Practice. My objective was to design and coordinate a successful integration of the new practice. The engagement and my relationship with Heather far exceeded my initial expectations.

The integration has been successful on many levels and through the process Heather has become a trusted advisor.  In addition to being a strong facilitator and a resource for my entire team, Heather and I would spend significant time exploring different ideas and having broad philosophical discussions about the business.  She is a good listener, and when appropriate, very comfortable challenging my thinking and offering a different perspective.

Through multiple engagements our relationship has continued to develop.  Heather understands our Practice and I actively look for opportunities to continue our work together.”
